Getting back on the horse

Suggests the stats man
I've had about 6-8 weeks off from my research, mostly due to illness, partially due to moving/stress from everything that went wrong with the move.
Today is the first day in a couple of months that I feel like I'm on track. I finally have a plan, a list of things to do and I've been telling myself that it is OK to be human. I paused recruitment but I was still working on my article when I was in hospital. I needed to do some major editing, cut 7 pages out of 37 and respond to 50-100 comments. All while I was in so much pain, I couldn't move my arms in the morning before a shot of morphine (that was when I was in hospital, at home Rhys used a combination of medications and heat packs to get me moving).
I'm excited to get back into it and show that I am serious to get the rest of it started.
In the next couple of blogs I'll describe my area of interest.
